Having had a break from photography for a while to focus on my family, I decided to dust off my camera and get my boots out of the cupboard to take a trip up north to explore the beautiful coastline of Northumberland.  Being my first visit to the area, I wasn't disappointed. I had some great light and the weather gods weren't too harsh either.  I must admit to myself I didn't realise how much I missed it, being in great locations and watching all the elements come together to create that moment is very magical and the be ready to capture it sometimes when your alone.

The trip reminded me how much I love capturing amazing light and in challenging weather conditions.  I really persisted in all conditions to find the right balance of elements and interest in my shots.  Below are some of the images I captured on the trip, let me know which one is your favourite. - Click on the images below to enlarge.
